Pause in Amauvala?
How do you feel after this turn? Should we take a pause in Amauvala. Feels like some people are taking a personal toll, and don't want anyone to be hurt.
Re: Pause in Amauvala?
Depends on concensus but could be useful to take a break, try another game, recruit more players for Hyu Jifala and have a timetabled restart

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
I will anyway finish these latest turns. I will auto-conclude Sérra, and then move on to the Vidstossi chaos.
Re: Pause in Amauvala?
Last time we ran another game, Amau never came back and Mordslavia had many of the same issues anyway. I don't see why one player flouncing out should trigger this either.
I'm fine with recruiting but against a 'pause', the game is running at a very manageable pace.

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
I agree, pausing the game is most likely going to result in more players dropping out. Losing one is bad enough.
Of course I have no objections for recruiting more players, but there's no reason to stop for that. People can come and go as they please, it's not the first time people ragequit.

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
And a fantastic turn it was .
I too must disagree with a pause. Things are finally getting interesting in the land of the Rothinji and I truly enjoy each turn of the game. I of course am all for recruiting, maybe see if we can't fill in the great holes in the world that are Rahol or Doriya?
I fear for a recurrence of what apparently happened with Amauvala 1, and several other games that were great past times of mine. We can't expect to please everybody in a game that is about killing each other .

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
No, the mere notion of having my people annihilated from the game is terrifying, not having amauvala even more so.

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
Okay, can we go on a recruiting spree, Hyu Jifala needs more players, and game player is slowing there because of it.

Soooo... Are we taking a pause, despite it being voted down?

Votes don't matter in a democracy. Not here in Canada anyways.

Re: Pause in Amauvala?
No. The issue is that this week is the deadline in the final report for this month for the Biodome Project. I need to prioritise. Also I've had a work interview and two lectures recently.
Re: Pause in Amauvala?
I understand! It's cool. Just wondered, since it's been a while since new stats, and no new deadline has been posted.
